The Surehatch SH1500 Automatic Digital Egg Hatcher is a large, single-chamber hatcher that is required when transferring eggs from the setter on day 18. Eggs remain in the hatcher until day 21 when the chicks hatch. You need to use a separate setter with this hatcher. The hatcher is designed to maintain an even temperature throughout the machine, which is important for giving all the chicks a good chance of hatching. The hatching crates can be removed for easy cleaning and management of the chicks. The SH1500 has many advantages over other models on the market, including fully digital temperature control, easy to regulate humidity control with an automatic humidity reservoir, access eggs from the front of the incubator, built-in lightning and surge protection, and a large clear-view observation window is standard. The incubator is made of ultra durable, water resistant duraboard and has an opti-flow specialized high volume incubator fan. The incubator can retain heat for up to six hours after power outage.
